BUAEC/CSU Speed Clinic Participants - Note from Coach for January 8th
BUAEC/CSU Speed Workout Participants a Note from Coach Noel for January 8th
With three weeks of of track workouts behind us and then two weeks off - we will not progress so sharply with intensity or duration until next week, allowing everyone to adjust. The following week will modify the plan and have more of a split workout for short/longer distance prep.
Next week January 15th there is a BU track meet that conflicts with our session. i would like to move the workouts to Tuesday evening January 13th 7:00pm instead, to keep continuity and consistency as we transition into the new year. We can discuss this on Thursday as a group. The other option would be to extend the program to April 9th and skip next week - I’m hesitant to lose another week so soon. ~Noel

Happy 2009 all,
Just a reminder that if you have not already sent in your CSU dues & updated your USATF membership to get those updated ASAP.
The first NE-USATF race is the Jones 10M (Amherst, MA) on Feb. 22 and you need to have your dues & USATF current to experience the benifit of running like an elite runner (for free). And of course, be wearing some CSU gear! Here is the USATF membership link where you can get up to date or join online http://www.usatfne.org/member/

I can finally shut them up
How many times, upon mentioning to family or friends that you’re a runner, do you hear a reply including the comment “Isn’t that tough you your knees…”, etc. Well here’s some ammunition from the popular media to turn the tables….
