CSU Tour de Glaces August 16th, presented by MassBike Spin
When: Sunday, August 16, 10:30am (departure time)
Where: Concord Center, Concord MA (on the the green by the water fountain)
What: Back by popular demand — the Annual CSU Ice Cream Bicycle Tour, otherwise known as the Tour des Glaces! This year part of the MassBike Spin Series.
A leisurely bike ride to THREE houses of Delectable Dairy Delights:
Bates at Kimball’s (Carlisle)
Erickson’s (Maynard)
Kimball’s (Westford)
Almost everyone can do all or some of the bike ride … Although physically challenging (the ice-cream eating), the trip for nearly 30 years has been alleged to be calorically neutral, unless you insist on jimmies and/or whipped cream. The entire loop is about 50 miles, BUT you don’t have to do the whole route… Many proud veterans of the ride have stopped after the first or second cones (easy routes back to Concord ). Bring your friends, your families, and especially your bicycles ! Contact Gail at 857-204-4153 for more information, or to RSVP. Hope to see you there!
